In April 2022, the Arkansas-based jeweler Sissy’s Log Cabin announced it had entered into a partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies. It would be the team’s official jeweler, with a rebranded floor-seat lounge in FedExForum.
The lounge opened in October. The jewelry line was unveiled earlier this week.
Phase I of the new line, designed by Sissy’s in-house designers, features earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and cufflinks in sterling silver and enamel.
“We had run it by quite a few people and talked to different generations to get something for everybody,” said Bill Jones, CEO of Sissy’s. “We felt very strong about it.”
The line is on display at the lounge, though not for sale. It is available for purchase online and at Sissy’s Laurelwood Shopping Center store.
The main team behind the Grizzlies’ jewelry design was Jason Heckendorf, manager of the Memphis store; Jennifer Turney, Sissy’s VP and lead buyer; and Jones.
“We have a pretty good idea of what people like and had some beautiful designs and some fun stuff,” Jones said.
