Stone Ward client, SkillsUSA, is a national nonprofit that has helped students excel through programs, events and competitions designed to support career and technical education. With over 19,000 of the nation’s classrooms conducting SkillsUSA training, the organization has a tremendous impact on many students’ lives every day and has centered on empowering students to become world-class workers and leaders with abundant opportunities for career success in anything from manufacturing, to entrepreneurship, to culinary arts.

With a strong focus on celebrating the victories of its students, alumni and partners, SkillsUSA and Stone Ward made it a priority to turn the SkillsUSA Champions Magazine – with organization news, updates and encouraging success stories – into a dynamic and interactive digital content hub for the organization and its members.

SkillsUSAChampions.org is the new virtual community for students and teachers to discover relevant and inspiring content focused on personal, workplace and technical skills. The site’s user-friendly design and navigation makes it easy to share content, submit a story to be featured, or be notified via email when new content is uploaded.

SkillsUSA Champions is a great resource to rediscover what’s going right in the world. With both past and current magazine content, as well as roll-outs of new content, the digital hub gives even more access to relevant content. From the Spotlight section highlighting community-oriented activities various chapters are spearheading, to long-form feature stories about students and alumni successes, to the Toolbox with practical activities and resources for the classroom, SkillsUSA Champions new website has it all.

From strategy development, to the wireframe and design, to tackling the site build, SkillsUSA and Stone Ward worked hand in hand to build SkillsUSA Champions’ new digital home.
