The 2026 FIFA World Cup™ is coming back to American soil and Stone Ward was thrilled to partner with client U.S. Soccer and their PR agency, Fleishman Hillard, to celebrate the victory and announce the news to the world.
For the first time in history, three nations – Canada, Mexico and the USA – will host together the quadrennial men’s tournament, the FIFA World Cup, the most watched sports event in the world.
The United 2026 bid committee sought a suite of digital and print assets to celebrate this historic feat. The design had to exude all the emotion that the World Cup embodies.
The Stone Ward team was up to the task and created a variety of graphics that captured the shared joy everyone in North America was feeling when the announcement was made on June 13th.
In addition to the social media graphic that was used by the three soccer federations of North America, Stone Ward designed multiple graphics for pro sports leagues and teams, as well as U.S. Soccer partners to join in the celebration.
