When Tommy talks, people listen. And when he speaks as Stone Ward's director of broadcast, people listen harder. A former Arkansas State University football player and member of the college’s Hall of Fame Arkansas, Tommy is a 23-year veteran of film and broadcast production, whose screen credits include work with Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman and Johnny Cash, among others. This hands-on technical — and technological — expertise made him the natural choice for Director of Stone Ward's in-house video production facility, 360 Filmworks. Tommy is committed to the idea of service to others. It's a commitment he lives daily, in both his personal and professional lives.
The best advice I ever received was:
"Don't ever do anything to jeopardize your integrity. It's something that you spend your entire life building and it only takes one stupid move to tear it all down. Remember that." - Denver Walker - My father
My favorite thing at home is:
Spending time with my wife, four children, my dog (Scrappy), and watching football
My mentor is:
My uncle, the late Deloss Walker, owner and operator of Walker & Assoc. advertising in Memphis, TN
Very few people know I:
Play the harmonica
If I've learned one thing it is:
You are only as good as your last production. You can do things right a million times and you make one mistake and you're a goof.
First car:
1976 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 400 4-Barrel intake engine. In high school, I once made it from Jonesboro to Little Rock in an hour. Can you say fast and bullet proof?
