Our very own Millie Ward was honored by the Rotary Club of Little Rock with its Business &

Professional Leader of the Year Award. She also received a Sidney M. Brooks Fellow medal

and certificate, the highest honor bestowed by the civic organization.

Millie is very much her own Hall of Fame, and we are so very proud of her accomplishments as

a leader, mentor, colleague and friend! She has been honored by more organizations than we

can count for her consistent commitment to the Central Arkansas community over the past

several years. Some of the most notable accolades include being inducted into the University of

Arkansas Business Hall of Fame, named on Arkansas Business’ “Power List” and “Top 100

Women” lists, named one of Adweek’s “Women to Watch,” named “Woman Business Owner of

the Year” by the National Association of Women Business Owners, and named “Arkansas Top

Manager of the Year” by Sales and Marketing Executives International, to only name a few.

When accepting her award she cited one of our 20 Principles, commending the team here at

Stone Ward: “No. 19 is one of my favorites. It is ‘Do not confuse effort with results.’ There’s no

bigger thrill or privilege for me than to help good companies get good results and succeed

because of them.”

Thanks, Millie, but know that we couldn’t have done it without such an

inspirational leader!
