Chris Earls

Technology Manager

When it comes to digital technology and web development, there’s always a best solution – and Chris can find it. Thanks to his passion for learning and extensive experience (he got his first developer job as a senior in high school), he keeps us cutting edge on all the platforms, software development frameworks and tools needed to help our clients succeed.

As technology manager, Chris is responsible for Stone Wards’ technology tools and capabilities for all things digital. He ensures technical leadership for project teams, managing development effort on website projects and serves as the primary contact for client technology stakeholders. He provides technical insights and direction on all client projects including creative ideation, project scoping, wireframing, UI/UX, and client infrastructure/process audits. He keeps the agency on the cutting edge of platforms, software development frameworks and tools necessary to help our clients succeed. He is a skilled developer in various programming languages, email platforms and CRM, ecommerce, and content management software, to name just a few.

Chris’s expertise is evidenced by the literally hundreds of web solutions he has created in his development career – from national enterprise-wide sites to small retail to sports. Chris enjoys researching cutting-edge technology, modifying it to work with complex databases and programs, or to improve legacy systems, whatever is necessary to best serve the needs of clients. He is especially good at translating creative ideas into the technology and systems that make them work. And explaining it all in non-tech terms that can be understood by client and team. Chris loves to immerse himself in all things technology and it shows in the quality of work he delivers.

When he’s not working, you can find him spending time with his family, playing the guitar or piano, pounding the pavement on his daily morning jog or attending church with his family.
