Mike Valenti
Creative Director
- The best advice I ever received was:
- "Take care of the work first and everything else will follow.” Words I live by from my first Creative Director many years ago.
- My mentor is:
- I can’t say that I have one mentor, I believe you give and get something from everyone you meet. I try and pay attention to that.
- My favorite thing at home is:
- My wife, my two dogs, my road bike, my touring bike, my cross bike and my fixie. (that’s a bike too)
- Very few people know I:
- Performed the Heimlich on my mother-in-law and it worked. She then continued to finish her dinner like nothing happened.
- My last meal would be:
- Pasta with more pasta.
- Three people at my dream dinner would be:
- Lance Armstrong, he is making the world a better place.
Ray Romano, I want to know how he knows so much about me.
Ron Howard, the director, I think we’d get along.
- The historical figure I most admire is:
- The Buddha. He seems pretty patient with people.
- If I've learned one thing it is:
- Listen more than you talk.
- First car:
- 1966 Pontiac Ventura, 66,000 miles with a hole in the trunk. I painted it dark blue in the garage with my dad. “The Blue Moose” that was a good car.
- First beer:
- Miller. Favorite beer of all the guys that got kicked off the football team for getting caught drinking Miller beer. Not a fond memory.
- Web site I cannot live without:
- My cycling community. It’s like MySpace on wheels or at least I hope it will be.
www.veloist.com
- Favorite thing at an amusement park:
- Leaving.
