Mark Fonville
Senior Art Director/Designer
- The best advice I ever received was:
- Shower the people you love with love (JT).
- My mentor is:
- Jackie Roberson and Wendell Chessir.
- My favorite thing at home is:
- My Klipsch Heresy loudspeakers.
- Very few people know I:
- Play hymns on guitar for my sons at night.
- My last meal would be:
- Crab Cakes from Cafe Pacific -- Highland Park, a cup of my gumbo, Filet Mignon from Larry's -- Houston, Cain Cuvet NV3 from Larry and Millie's... nevermind, that's gone, a baguette and Ishtara cheese from Boulevard with Kalamata olives, Lynn's Black Truffle Risotto, Kim's fresh spinach/strawberry/balsamic salad with my Parmesan crisps, and my son Tyler's instant chocolate pudding. And an Arturo Fuente cigar from my brother Dale, shared with my brothers. The thing is, if I didn't die eating all that, it would at least prolong whatever fate I was facing.
- Three people at my dream dinner would be:
- God, my wife Kim and Bob Steel.
- The historical figure I most admire is:
- Ronald Reagan.
- If I've learned one thing it is:
- Don't take yourself so seriously. (Still learning.)
- First car:
- 1962 Ford Fairlane 500.
- First beer:
- Miller Lite, 1984, at college (it was a long time ago, I needed the money).
- Web site I cannot live without:
- eBay.
- Favorite thing at an amusement park:
- The Shockwave at Six Flags Over Texas (medium-sized double loop rail coaster).
