Tommy Walker

Director of Broadcast Production

Expert negotiator. Broadcast aficionado. Dynamic Coordinator. These are just a few of the many titles that Tommy Walker has earned over his 32-year career in film. With years of experience in a variety of roles, Tommy understands all of the technical parts and moving pieces critical for a successful production, all serving him well in his role as Stone Ward’s director of broadcast production.

Tommy is a veteran of film and broadcast production, whose screen credits include work with Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman and Johnny Cash, among others. Using his depth of behind-the-scenes knowledge, Tommy ensures Stone Ward clients like Terminix, Sport Clips, Baptist Health and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission receive the best creative product with every wrap.

Also well-known for his generous spirit, Tommy is passionate about mentoring young athletes and can often be found at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting for the Little Rock School District. A former athlete himself, he played for Arkansas State University Football player and is a member of the A-State Football Hall of Honor and All-Centennial Team. In all things, Tommy remains committed to the idea of building good and serving others – two principles he practices daily, in both his personal and professional life.

The best advice I ever received was:

My favorite thing at home is:

Spending time with my family, and watching the Red Wolves play

My mentor is:

My uncle, the late Deloss Walker, owner and operator of Walker & Assoc. advertising in Memphis, TN

If I’ve learned one thing it is:

You’re only as good as your last production.

The historical figure I most admire is:

Jesus Christ

First car:

1976 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 400 4-Barrel intake engine. Black with scarlet interior, of course.
