To be eligible to participate in Camp Reality, students must have completed at least their sophomore year in a discipline related to our business: communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, graphic design, art, interactive design, etc. We require a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 and a GPA in the student’s major of at least 3.0. A student must complete an application and submit it on the Stone Ward website along with a resume and a letter of recommendation from a professor, counselor or a professional reference no later than March 27. If a student is applying for a copywriting, design or interactive position, they must submit at least three pieces of their work with their application. Check out our Facebook group to connect and chat with past interns and follow us on Twitter for Camp Reality announcements. Finalists will be contacted for interviews in early April and those students who are chosen will be notified in mid-April.

Camp Reality is an unpaid internship. However, at the end of each Camp Reality session, each intern will be rewarded $500 for their contributions to Stone Ward’s Building Good philosophy. Stone Ward will also provide parking for all interns. Interns wishing to receive college credit for their internship will be responsible for informing Stone Ward of what is required of the employer. If necessary, the intern’s manager at Stone Ward will complete any college paperwork and/or evaluation.

If you have any specific questions, you may email to campreality@stoneward.com.

We have provided the following PDFs if you would like to download an overview of the program and the application. We prefer that all applications are submitted online using the form below, but will accept hard copies that are mailed in as well.
